Overview

We require a Yard Operative for our K-Cabin depot to help maintain the yard, check cabins, toilets and mobile units thoroughly, and assist both customers and delivery personnel with the loading and unloading of equipment.

What you will do

• Carry out thorough inspections and cleaning of cabins, toilets, and mobile units effectively.
• Carry out full function and safety checks prior to delivery.
• Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working area.
• Instruct customers in the proper use of equipment and demonstrate operation when necessary (full training will be provided).
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental legislation, regulations, and company policies and procedures.

What you will need

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Experience in the operation of forklift trucks would be advantageous.
• Full driving licence and driving experience.

Hours of work

Monday - Thursday 7.30am- 5pm & Fri 7.30am - 4pm, 41.5 hrs per week
