Job summary

We are seeking a dedicated Yard Operative to join our team at Harlow Timber Systems Bardon. The role of yard operative within the company is to ensure that all required ancillary items are picked and packed to the customers’ requirements.

You will work to a production schedule, coordinate with the Production Manager and yard Supervisor, and ensure health and safety standards are observed. Training and development opportunities are available within a growing timber group.

Qualifications

• Good communication, timekeeping and reliability.
• Able to work with a team and on your own.
• Warehouse/picking experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ancillary items are picked and packed correctly with paperwork.
• Meet weekly delivery dates with Production Manager and yard Supervisor.
• Follow Health & Safety rules and maintain yard equipment with Supervisor.
• Work independently to a production schedule and as part of a team.
• Adhere to all company rules and safety procedures.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Yard Operative to join our team at Harlow Timber Systems Bardon. The role of yard operative within the company is to ensure that all required ancilery items are picked and packed to the customers’ requirements.

What you’ll be doing as a Yard Operative:

• Ensure that all ancilery items are picked and packed correctly. Controlled and monitored with paperwork.
• Weekly delivery dates are achieved as planned with the Production Manager and yard Supervisor. Ensuring all items are complete to the delivery schedule and requirements.
• Health & Safety requirements for the business are followed and adhered to.
• The monitoring and maintenance of equipment with the yard Supervisor is maintained.
• Be able to work on your own to a production schedule and also within a team.
• Always working within the rules of the business and adhering to all health and safety rules.
