We’re Hiring: Yard Operative
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £28,500 per annum
Hours: 42.5hrs Monday to Friday

As a Yard Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient running of our yard operations. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a tidy and safe working environment while supporting the team with daily tasks.
What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Handle incoming and outgoing deliveries, safely loading and unloading materials, and ensuring items are stored correctly.
2. Keep the yard organised, conduct stock checks, and operate machinery safely.
3. Assist customers with their orders and provide excellent service.

What We’re Looking For:

1. Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.
2. A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
3. Organised with good attention to detail.
4. Experienced in yard work or a similar role (desirable).
5. Comfortable operating forklifts or other equipment (license preferred but not essential).
