Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting a Yard Operative near Aldermaston for an active role in a busy manufacturing environment. The position runs 07:00–17:00, Monday to Friday, with voluntary overtime on Saturdays.

You’ll work with welding materials, sheet metal and structural parts, and assist with material preparation, welding panels, grinding surfaces and general yard and workshop duties. No prior welding experience required as full training is provided; you will quickly learn and contribute to

• Previous yard, workshop, manufacturing or construction experience is desirable.
• Welding or fabrication experience is an advantage, but full training is provided.
• Must be physically fit for manual handling of metal materials.
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn.
• Able to work well as part of a team.
• Own transport is desirable due to location and access.

Yard Operative

Location: Near Aldermaston, RG7

Pay Rate: £13.21 per hour

Hours: 07:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday

Overtime: Voluntary overtime available on Saturdays

We are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative to join a busy manufacturing team based near Aldermaston.

This is a hands-on role working with welding materials, sheet metal and structural parts. You will assist with preparing materials, welding panels, grinding surfaces and supporting general yard and workshop duties.

Full training will be provided, so previous welding experience is not essential.
