Interaction Recruitment in Abingdon is seeking a dependable Yard Operative to support daily yard operations and equipment handling at our Radley site.

The role offers an immediate start with a 12-week trial period leading to permanent employment, working Monday to Friday, 07:00–17:00, with overtime rates for hours beyond 45 and Sundays. A strong emphasis on safety and teamwork underpins daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the mat washer, completing daily start-up and shut-down checks.
• Clean mats using a jet washer and ensure efficient operation.
• Complete daily paperwork and report faults promptly to minimise downtime.
• Clean, bag, and store pins ready for distribution, removing any from mats as required.
• Assist with inventory management of tools and spare parts.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and report any risks or concerns.
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet operational targets and maintain good timekeeping.

Job Title: Yard Operative - Immediate Start - Abingdon

We are looking for a dependable Yard Operative to support daily yard operations and equipment handling with our client based in Radley, Abingdon.

Pay & Hours:

• £14 per hour

• £21 per hour after 45 hours

• £28 per hour on Sunday

• Monday - Friday, 07.00 - 17.00

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain the mat washer, completing daily start-up and shut-down checks.
