Job summary

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving licence.
• Telehandler licence (preferable).
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Computer literate and basic computer knowledge.
• Good communication.
• Follow company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Utilise sign making software to produce specific road signs.
• Prep equipment for planned works and report shortfalls.
• Allocate depot tasks to operatives during downtime.
• Monitor battery charging and stock; report to the manager.
• Carry out weekly stock checks and maintain kit levels.
• Report shortages of equipment as needed.
• Monitor PPE levels; issue PPE and report.
• Ensure all plant/equipment are in working order; perform minor maintenance.
• Maintain a safe depot environment; inspect for hazards.
• Keep yard stores tidy and secure; monitor security daily.
• Optimise space in yards/stores.
• Follow company policies and procedures.

Skills
