Conquip Engineering Group is seeking a Yard & JetWash Operative at Hook, Norfolk Depot (NR16). The role requires a practical, hands-on approach with the ability to work flexibly from early starts, Monday to Friday.

A valid driving licence and access to your own transport are advantageous, as is forklift experience. You will transport equipment, prepare it for washing, jet wash to standard, stock control, and maintain a tidy depot while complying with health and safety rules.

Responsabilités

• Transport equipment to and from the washing area safely and efficiently.
• Prepare equipment for washing by removing necessary components.
• Jet wash equipment to the required standard and relocate it to the workshop.
• Adhere strictly to all health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Undertake basic computer tasks to support operational requirements.
• Pick orders accurately and load/unload vehicles as required.
• Manage the yard to ensure items are stored correctly and efficiently.
• Demonstrate flexibility with working hours, including early starts, as dictated by the construction industry.
• Maintain stock control by ensuring inventory is correctly located and undertaking regular stock takes.
• Produce depot transfer notes for movement of stock between depots.
• Inspect equipment returned from hire and manage accordingly.
• Assess and report on refurbishment needs of customer-sent equipment, liaising with HQ for pricing.
• Keep warehouses clean, swept, and tidy on a regular basis.
• Foster a positive team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Comply fully with all health and safety requirements.
• Complete any required training promptly and to a high standard.
