Job summary

IAA Holdings, LLC (IAA), a Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers company, seeks a Forklift Truck Operative for our Winsford site. You will load and unload lorries, move vehicles between locations, and ensure accurate damage reporting, while maintaining a clean and safe work area.

The role requires a valid forklift certificate, a full driving license, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions with attention to detail and good communication with clients and team members.

Forklift Truck Operative

Location: Road Three, Winsford

Salary: £27,560

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable FLT Operative to join our team in Winsford.

As An FLT Operative, You Will Be Responsible For

• Loading and unloading lorries
• Moving vehicles between locations
• Completing inspection reports by recording the damage to vehicles as they arrive at the site
• Providing excellent customer service and support to both clients and suppliers and deal with any issues or concerns in an effective manner
• Cleaning vehicles and the site
• Adhere to Health & Safety and company guidelines, and to maintain a safe and efficient working environment
• Imaging vehicles using video cameras recording clear and concise images and sounds
• To be successful in this role, suitable candidates must have a full driving license, relevant forklift truck certificate and experience of working outside in all weathers, and the ability to accurately record vehicle damage in a clear and concise manner

We are looking for someone who can work well as part of a team, with excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and a keen eye for detail. Basic IT skills are also required. Previous experience working in a salvage site and knowledge and/or an interest in motor vehicles would be desirable but not essential.
