Job summary

Keyline Civils Specialists is seeking a Yard Assistant at our Treforest branch. You will help customers select products from a wide range and assist with stock movement, loading and unloading vehicles, and order picking.

Safety and customer service are priorities as you become a familiar face to customers. The role focuses on friendly, flexible interaction with customers, a practical approach to yard tasks, and training in any required equipment.

Qualifications

• This is a key customer facing role requiring enthusiasm and great interpersonal skills.
• Friendly and flexible personality to communicate face to face with customers.
• Fork lift truck licence would be desirable, though training can be provided.
• No specific degree required; emphasis on practical customer service ability.

Responsibilities

• Help customers choose from a huge range of products.
• Move materials safely around the branch, loading and unloading vehicles.
• Offload supplier deliveries into stock and pick customer orders.
• Ensure safety standards are always followed in daily yard activities.
