As a Yard Sales Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, providing outstanding service to our customers and ensuring they leave with a smile. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers visiting our yard, and you’ll play a key role in making sure everything runs smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing

Each day in the branch is different, but here’s an overview of what you’ll be up to:

Providing exceptional customer service– You’ll be the friendly face that customers see when they visit, getting to know them by name and ensuring they have the best experience possible.

Outdoor work– You’ll spend most of your time outside, helping process customer orders, loading and unloading both customer and company vehicles.

Stock management– You’ll assist with unloading supplier deliveries and accurately booking in products in the branch warehouse.

Forklift operation– While experience with a forklift is beneficial, don’t worry – full training in MHE equipment will be provided.

Maintaining safety standards– Safety is a top priority, and you’ll play a key role in ensuring our yard is tidy, well-organised, and safe for both customers and colleagues.
