Joining our friendly and hardworking family as an Yard Sales Assistant, you'll be on the front line dealing with our customers who come into our yard. As part of the branch team, you will play a vital role in our continued success by providing first-class service.

This role is based at Travis Perkins, Unit 3, Bawtry Road Industrial Estate, Bawtry Road, Selby, YO8 8NB.

What will I be doing?

No two days are the same in TP branch life, but here are a few key responsibilities:

1. Building strong relationships with customers by delivering high standards of service—being helpful and friendly at all times, often getting to know customers on a first-name basis.
2. Processing customer orders outside, loading and unloading customer and company vehicles.
3. Unloading building products from supplier deliveries and accurately booking them into the branch warehouse.
4. Using a forklift is ideal, but full training will be provided.
5. Maintaining safety standards by keeping a tidy and safe working environment at all times.

This is a key customer-facing role; you need to be able to provide great customer service. We can teach you the rest.
