Job Role: Yard Assistant / Van Driver

Join our team as a Yard Assistant / Van Driver, representing MKM, the leading independent builders’ merchant in the UK established in 1995.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist customers by providing excellent customer service.
2. Load and unload vehicles, pick and check orders, and store stock safely.
3. Maintain a tidy and safe working environment.
4. Make multi-drop deliveries in a transit or box van around the surrounding area.
5. Assist in the warehouse with customer orders.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Counterbalance Forklift license (advantageous).
• Knowledge of building materials / builders merchant industry (advantageous).
• Smart appearance, positive and friendly manner, hardworking, and enthusiastic.
• Availability to work alternate Saturday mornings.
