Qualifications

£12.75 - £14 ph depending on experience

Allander Aggregates Ltd are a family-run business based in Milngavie with traditional values providing landscaping and building materials to both trade and public customers.

Job Description

We are looking to recruit a full-time permanent Yard Assistant / Relief HGV Driver working from our site in Milngavie.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Picking and checking orders
  2. Loading and unloading vehicles
  3. Assisting customers
  4. Storing stock safely and securely
  5. Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment
  6. Working as part of the yard team and making multi-drop deliveries and collections, providing a quality service driving our vehicles, which includes a Class 2 HGV with a HIAB crane.
Skills Required
  1. Class 2 Licence, digital tachograph card, and up-to-date CPC.
  2. Qualified HIAB experience is advantageous.
  3. A counterbalance Forklift Licence is preferred.
  4. Positive attitude and good attention to detail.
  5. Hardworking and safety-conscious.

Salary: depending on experience (paid weekly).

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 7.30 to 16.00 with the possibility of overtime.

Contributory pension scheme.

Holidays: 29 days per year pro rata (usually closed for 10 days over the festive period).

Uniform and PPE provided.
