Job description

Joining our friendly and hardworking family as a Yard Sales Assistant / HGV Relief Driver, you'll be on the front line dealing with our customers who come into our yard. As part of the branch team, you will play a vital role in our continued success by providing first-class service.

What will I be doing?

Each day in TP branch life is different, but here are some key responsibilities:

• Delivering high standards of customer service by being helpful and friendly at all times, building relationships with customers.
• Processing customer orders outside, loading and unloading vehicles.
• Unloading building products from supplier deliveries and accurately recording them in the warehouse.
• Full training provided for forklift driving.
• Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment, prioritizing safety at all times.
• Making deliveries in the absence of HGV drivers.

Location

Travis Perkins Edinburgh Sighthill branch, a new branch opening this year, with a team of 13 including tool hire, HGV wagons, and a Benchmarx.

Requirements

Must have a Class 2 licence with experience in driving HGV vehicles.
