We have an exciting opportunity for a yard assistant to join our client's team based at their Head Office near Uckfield, East Sussex. The yard assistant is a full time position offering £15 to £20 per hour depending on experience.

Established for over 30 years, our client is a UK based specialist contractor, which provides its social housing clients with innovative structural repair solutions, including: Masonry Reinforcement, Remedial Lintel Installation, Remedial Wall Tie Installation and Concrete Repair & Protection.

They are currently looking for a yard assistant to join the team at head office to assist with the organisation and maintenance of the builder’s yard. A driving licence and knowledge of building is an advantage, but training can be provided.

The Successful Candidates Will

• Have a background in construction
• Have a CSCS card (other H&S training an advantage)
• Be an enthusiastic and proactive team player
• Be organised with excellent attention to detail
• Be willing to work at height
• Have a driving licence valid in the UK
• Have experience driving FLT & Telehandlers
