You will prepare year-end accounts, VAT returns, payroll, and Self Assessment, while reviewing bookkeeping and advising clients. Flexible hours offer full- or part-time options, with a local focus and direct Director

Qualifications

• Experience preparing year-end accounts and VAT returns.
• Strong client-facing skills and ability to explain numbers clearly.
• Proficiency with Xero and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Preparing year-end accounts and financial statements.
• VAT returns and Corporation Tax and Self Assessment work.
• Payroll and associated filings.
• Reviewing bookkeeping and ensuring accuracy.
• Speaking with clients about their accounts.
• Chasing missing invoices and information.
• Helping clients understand their numbers clearly.
• Spotting problems before they escalate.
• Supporting clients in managing their finances.
