Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of bookkeeping and VAT clients, including sole traders and limited companies
• Carry out bookkeeping duties using Xero
• Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately and on time
• Review work by junior team members and outsourced staff
• Respond to client queries professionally
• Ensure trial balances are accurate before handover to the accounts department
• Process VAT registrations and de-registrations with HMRC
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide high levels of customer service
