Overview

For West Yorkshire Police officers, this role will be a permanent posting. For regional based officers who apply from regional forces this role will be for a secondment post and will need SLT approval. West Yorkshire Police are looking to appoint Analysts to work in its Protective Services Crime with posts supporting District and NPT analysis of crime and intelligence issues. This job involves gathering and interpreting information to assist Senior Leaders in their decision making. Posts are available in Leeds and Kirklees. Working hours are Monday to Friday with a hybrid model (remote and office-based once fully trained). This is a Career Progression Scheme; progression may start at different points based on experience and knowledge. A detailed description of the Competency and Values levels required is available via the CVF (College of Policing).   • Flexibility regarding location (Leeds or Kirklees) and hybrid working arrangements.
