Job description

We are looking for 2 SEND Teaching Assistants for a primary school setting in Kingstanding. These roles will be 1-to-1 roles in a fantastic mainstream school locally. The school has a strong ethos of supporting and investing in their staff, offering equal opportunities to both permanent staff and those joining through us at Axcis Education. You will receive an in-depth induction, supported by training from both the school and Axcis Education, including free upskilling opportunities. These positions involve working on a 1-to-1 basis with the support of the SENCo and SEND support team, helping children to learn and develop personally and educationally. The roles are:

1. Full-time, Monday to Friday, during term-time only.
2. Working hours from 08:30 to 15:30.
3. Paid weekly in arrears, starting at £89 per day depending on experience and qualifications.
4. Minimum duration until July 2026, with potential for permanent roles based on staffing needs.
