Job Description:

Oakley Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established global organization based in Birmingham. This role would suit an individual with experience working in the professional market. The successful candidate must speak German. This is initially a 12-month contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Rewards

  • Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm or 9am – 6pm, with 1-hour lunch
  • Modern city centre workspace

  • £18.00 per hour, with time and a half after 40 hours (£27.00/hour)
  • Potential for permanent employment

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Processing travel and entertainment expense reports accurately and timely, ensuring compliance
  • Handling a high volume of invoices
  • Managing high call volumes, screening, routing, and taking detailed messages
  • Coordinating meetings, conference calls, and travel arrangements
  • Interacting professionally with colleagues
  • Supporting team environment and sharing responsibilities

Skills and Experience

  • Bilingual in German and English
  • Excellent communication skills (in person, phone, email)
  • Attention to detail and strong technical skills
  • Good judgment, independent, resourceful
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and multitask
  • Knowledge of business and corporate cultures, team player
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
