They are currently looking for two Field Service Security Engineers, for an initial 6-month contract based in Camberley.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, commission, and service a variety of field equipment, including CCTV, Access Control, IoT Gateways & Sensors, Fire & Intruder Alarm Systems, and Public Address & Voice Alarm Systems.
  • Retrofit upgrades/extensions to existing systems as part of remedial works packages.
  • Provide high levels of customer service and advise clients on improving the efficiency of their systems with the latest products and services.
  • Interpret site plans to carry out installs based on site survey documentation.
  • Complete all documentation in line with company standards.
  • Adhere to strict Health & Safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ensure all assigned work is completed on time and to the required quality standards, recording works in business systems and obtaining client sign-offs.
  • Represent the company professionally and ensure high levels of customer service at all times.
  • Ensure site Health & Safety compliance and escalate any immediate issues to line management.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure the efficient and timely delivery of all assigned work.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure job sign-off by the client.
  • Ensure all site activities are compliant with Health & Safety regulations.
  • Always represent the company in a professional and customer-focused manner.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Valid CSCS/ECS Card
  • PTS Certification (preferred)
  • DBS Clearance (for public sector environments)
  • IPAF/PASMA/Asbestos Awareness Certification
  • Recent or current electrical qualifications
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to work independently, including lone working, as well as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and self-motivation are essential.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard manufacturers (e.g., Genetec, Gallagher, Bosch, Dahua, Gent, Advanced, PAC, Win-Pak, Veracity, Milestone) is preferred.
  • Experience working within a BAFE/SSAIB/NSI accredited company is highly advantageous.
  • Previous experience in the Rail sector would be beneficial.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Technical expertise in the predominant skillset area.
  • Good administration skills with a working knowledge of business systems and applications (e.g., Microsoft Office 365).
  • Excellent team player and relationship builder.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to switch to service-related tasks when required.
  • Sound commercial awareness, with knowledge of system design and pricing.
