Job summary

PPM Recruitment is seeking X2 DBS School Cleaners for a school site in SO30 2HT. Immediate Start available for reliable cleaners who can follow instructions and work supervised by the Cleaning Supervisor.

Working hours are 3pm–7pm, Monday to Friday, at a pay rate of 12.71 per hour. Applicants must have an Enhanced DBS with Children's Barred List. This part-time role focuses on cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets and general areas to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS with Childrens Barred List is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas of the school site as instructed by the Cleaning Supervisor.
• Operate cleaning machinery on soft and hard surfaces (vacuum cleaners, polishers).
• Vacuum and mop floors; wipe furniture, doors and fixtures; empty bins; clean toilets and replenish supplies.
• Check and close windows, switch off lights after shift.

Job duties - cleaning certain parts of the school site as allocated by the Cleaning Supervisor (this will vary from time to time) Use cleaning materials as instructed. Operate cleaning machinery in cleaning soft and hard surfaces e.g. vacuum cleaners and polishers; Carry out the following duties - Vacuum cleaning hard and soft floors; Spot cleaning of spillages; Wiping furniture, ledges, pipes, paintwork, doors and polishing door glass; Emptying and cleaning bins; Cleaning toilets including sanitary fittings and surrounds; Mopping and spray cleaning hard floor surfaces; Wiping and polishing and straightening furniture; Replenishing janitorial supplies in toilets etc.; Checking and closing windows, switching off lights after work;
