Role Profile - Level 4 Assembly Technician
Responsibilities
  • Adherence to standard operating procedures and assembly instructions
  • Adherence to quality standards of the production facility
  • Contributing towards maintaining metrics used to monitor the production cell's performance
  • Managing your own time and workload efficiently
  • Working as part of a team and independently when required
What We Are Looking For:
  • Experience in manufacturing of cables, wires, harnesses, and soldering
  • Experience in mechanical assembly and tool usage
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and follow technical instructions
  • Knowledge of electronic assembly workmanship practices
  • Basic computer skills
Desired Experience / Competencies (not Essential):
  • Experience in manufacturing environments
  • Optical assembly experience (desirable)
  • Knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001, IPC7711/21)
  • Experience with PCB rework and repair
  • Understanding of concessions, permits, quality notifications, and defect records
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Basic understanding of ISO9001
Requirements For Role:
  • UK nationality and willingness to undertake security vetting to SC level
  • On-site presence 5 days a week (minimum 37 hours)
