Responsibilities

X-ray Technician Duties

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, assist with positioning, explain procedures, and ensure safety and comfort during x-ray exams.
• Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images, adjusting controls for proper exposure, and following safety regulations.
• Maintain radiation safety measures and ensure equipment functionality, reporting malfunctions promptly.
• Follow radiology workflows, document procedures accurately, and maintain equipment calibration and quality checks.

Medical Support Specialist Duties

• Perform drug and alcohol testing, prepare patients for examinations, and assist with ancillary testing and procedures.
• Assist providers during examinations, perform routine medical procedures, and manage medical supplies and equipment.
• Dispense medications as ordered, maintain documentation, and ensure a clean, organized environment.
• Manage patient flow, communicate wait times, and perform clerical duties including front office responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• State-approved Limited Scope Technician certification and license, if applicable.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• At least six months of medical assistant and x-ray experience, with knowledge of medical procedures and terminology.
• Preferred familiarity with occupational medicine requirements and customer service experience.
