A healthcare provider in Truro is hiring a Clinical Imaging Manager to oversee the TAG x-ray service. The role includes managing daily operations, ensuring high standards of patient care, and leading a team within the Clinical Imaging Management Team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in an Imaging Department and strong leadership skills.
We are pleased to offer this exciting job opportunity. The successful applicant will be an integral member of the Clinical Imaging Management Team, ensuring the safe, efficient and cost effective delivery of the Trauma, Acute and General Radiography (TAG) x-ray service across multiple sites.
To ensure professional and technical standards are always maintained, by regularly reviewing practice, in accordance with local and national policies and guidelines where appropriate.
To work as part of a team providing flexible service delivery as required which includes providing a 7 day and out of hours TAG service.
To be accountable for the TAG radiography service and manage the direct daily delivery of the service, effectively prioritising workload and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
To be accountable for the community-based X-Ray service across Cornwall and manage the direct daily delivery of the service, effectively prioritising workload and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
To work directly with Team Leaders in all other modalities within Clinical Imaging to ensure the most effective use of staffing resources.
To lead the supervision and operational management of radiographers, assistant practitioners, clinical imaging assistants and students within X-ray, based at RCHT and Community sites.
