CBSbutler Ltd. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and support medical imaging systems across South England.

The role blends technical field service with consultative sales, collaborating closely with commercial teams. Based in Hampshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire or Wiltshire, the engineer will work Mon-Fri, 8:30–17:30, with a competitive £42,000-£48,000 salary, a company vehicle, lunch allowance, and a bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with dental or medical X-Ray systems.
• UK driving licence and right to work for the UK.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ideally based in or near Hampshire / Basingstoke area.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and support medical imaging systems (X-Ray, Surgical C-Arms, Dental X-Ray units).
• Provide technical input during client consultations and tailor imaging solutions with sales/product teams.
• Identify upsell opportunities and contribute to customer-focused service delivery.
• Opportunity to gain exposure to critical care medical devices over time.

A unique opportunity has opened for a Field Service Engineer to join a well-established, UK-leading provider of medical imaging technology. The role blends technical field service support with consultative sales and close collaboration with commercial teams, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both engineering and client-facing work.

The Role:

You’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting medical imaging systems including:

• X-Ray machines
• Surgical C-Arms
• Dental X-Ray units

You’ll also work closely with the sales and product teams, providing technical insight during client consultations, helping tailor imaging solutions, and identifying up-sell opportunities.

Long term there will also be an opportunity to gain exposure to critical care medical devices if this is of interest!

Location:

• Covering the South, predominantly Hampshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire
• Ideally based near Basingstoke or the surrounding areas but open to applications anywhere within the territory

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm (door-to-door)

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience with dental or medical X-Ray systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Must have UK driving licence and right to work and valid visas for the UK.
