Role Overview: The WTG Technician will undertake essential maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on wind turbine generators (WTGs). This position demands precision, a commitment to maintaining high operational standards, and strict adherence to safety and environmental policies, ensuring that the turbines operate efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities:
Performing preventive maintenance and corrective interventions on WTGs.
Diagnosing and rectifying faults in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Maintaining accurate records of technical operations and data.
Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and environmental policies.
Collaborating with the on-site team to optimize turbine performance and reliability.
Requirements:
Solid experience as a WTG Technician or similar role within the wind energy field.
Technical diploma or degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related field.
Extensive knowledge of the operational aspects of wind turbines, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and resilience under operational pressures.
Strong communication skills and teamwork capabilities.
