Barnsley Football Club seeks an experienced Goalkeeping Coach to develop tailored coaching sessions for female goalkeepers in its academy. The role focuses on individual player development while fostering an inclusive and growth-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have proven experience, a strong understanding of goalkeeping techniques, and a commitment to safeguarding best practices.
To develop and deliver specialist goalkeeping coaching sessions tailored to the technical, tactical, physical, and psychological needs of female goalkeepers within the girls’ academy. The role focuses on nurturing goalkeepers’ individual potential by providing expert guidance and support in line with the club’s playing philosophy and long-term player development pathway. The Goalkeeping Coach will work closely with academy coaches and multidisciplinary staff to ensure a cohesive and holistic approach to player progression, safeguarding a safe, inclusive, and challenging environment that fosters confidence, resilience, and performance excellence.
