Job summary

The Supply Register are recruiting on behalf of Rugeley John Taylor School for a Wraparound Play Worker (Level 2) to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for childcare and play-based learning to support the delivery of a high-quality wraparound provision for Nursery and Reception-aged children.

You will work 7:30am to 9:00am and 3:00pm to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, totaling 22.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 2 qualification in Childcare, Playwork or Early Years.
• Experience working with children in a childcare, education or play setting.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.
• Positive, reliable and enthusiastic approach.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities.
• Help supervise children during breakfast and after-school sessions.
• Encourage positive behaviour and social development.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
