Job summary

Alder Grove Church of England Primary School is seeking a Wraparound Care Supervisor to lead its Breakfast Club and After School Club for pupils in EYFS, KS1 and KS2. The role covers daily operations, staffing, activity planning, and resource management during term-time (27.5 hours per week).

Safeguarding, behaviour and family relationships are a focus, with visa sponsorship not available and start in October 2026.

Qualifications

• First Aid & safeguarding training held or willingness to undertake it.
• Experience working with children in a school, childcare or play setting.
• Strong organisational and supervisory abilities and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operation of Breakfast Club and After School Club.
• Manage staffing levels and arrange cover for staff absences.
• Plan and oversee play, enrichment and recreational activities.
• Support positive behaviour & pupil wellbeing.
• Manage food ordering and monitor club resources.
• Ensure safeguarding, health and safety and school policies are followed.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, families and staff.
• Communicate with parents and school staff.

Job description

The post is Wraparound Care Supervisor at Alder Grove Church of England Primary School, leading its Breakfast Club and After School Club for pupils in EYFS, KS1 and KS2. The role covers the daily running of both clubs, including managing staff, arranging cover, planning activities and keeping food and resources in order. It is term-time only at 27.5 hours a week, with a focus on safeguarding, behaviour and family relationships. Visa sponsorship is not available and the post starts in October 2026.
