Job summary

Progressive Sports is seeking a Wraparound Activity Leader to join our on-site team at Edward the Elder School in Wolverhampton. You will deliver engaging sports, arts, and games for primary pupils during term-time, in collaboration with the Setting Lead.

This hands-on role suits someone who loves working with children, leading activities, and supporting setting management. On-the-job training is provided, and there is scope for career progression, with flexible hours and family-friendly terms.

Qualifications

• Experience in wraparound care or childcare is preferred but not essential.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Energetic, a team player, and good at engaging with primary school children.

Responsibilities

• Deliver High-Quality Activities: Lead fun, inspiring, and engaging sports, games, and arts & crafts sessions.
• Setting Support: Work closely with and support the Setting Lead to ensure smooth daily running of the club.
• Relationship Building: Maintain outstanding relationships with parents, school staff, and team members.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all company and Ofsted standards to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.
• Child Development: Encourage children to develop confidence, social skills, and new interests.
