University of Hull is seeking a Wound Research Scientist (KTP Associate) to lead a joint industry-academia project at Cardiff Medicentre. The role focuses on implementing models to demonstrate the efficacy of a prototype RF-based medical device for hard-to-heal wounds, under the Hull Wound Innovation Centre umbrella.

You will work with Frontier Therapeutics, Hull, and York experts, supported by a dedicated training budget to develop advanced translational wound technologies.

Qualifications

• PhD in Biomedical science or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience developing/validating wound models.
• Experience in a commercial/industrial environment and understanding regulatory pathways.

Responsabilités

• Lead development and validation of wound models for a RF-based medical device.
• Collaborate with academic and industry partners to evaluate pre-clinical efficacy and safety.
• Contribute to translational studies and knowledge embedding across partners.
