Job summary

The KTP Associate role joins academia and industry to drive wound innovation. You will lead the implementation of wound models to demonstrate the efficacy of a prototype radio frequency-based medical device for chronic wounds, coordinating across disciplines and mentors.

Based at Frontier Therapeutics Cardiff Medicentre, you will be employed by the University of Hull and supported by Hull and York experts to deliver translational research that benefits patients and NHS outcomes.

Qualifications

• PhD in Biomedical science or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience developing, implementing, and/or validating wound models.
• Experience working in a commercial/industrial environment with knowledge of wound regulatory landscape or pre-clinical testing pathways.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of appropriate wound models to demonstrate efficacy of a prototype RF-based medical device.
• Collaborate with academic and industry partners to evaluate pre-clinical efficacy and safety for patients.
