Job summary

NEW VINE LIMITED is recruiting to oversee Christ Church’s worship ministry, guiding sung worship, developing musicians and worship leaders, and building a healthy, sustainable program. The role is 15 hours per week, mainly Sundays plus one other weekday with some flexibility.

The fixed-term contract runs three years with possible extension. Salary is £28,000–£32,000 full-time equivalent (pro rata). Relocation grant is available, and a Friday 28th August 2026 application deadline applies.

• Oversee and develop worship ministry to support congregational worship.
• Lead and mentor musicians and worship leaders to raise musical ministry quality.
• Build a healthy, sustainable worship program with clear vision and governance.

Job description

To oversee and develop Christ Church’s worship ministry, helping people encounter Jesus through sung worship by leading worship, developing musicians and worship leaders, and building a healthy, sustainable worship ministry.

15 hours per week, normally worked on Sundays and one other weekday (with flexibility over which day).

Three-year fixed-term contract (with the possibility of extension).

Salary: £28,000–£32,000 full-time equivalent (pro rata) – depending on experience.

Holiday: 30 days (FTE – 6 weeks) + bank holidays.

Relocation grant available.
