New Wine in Lancaster is seeking a Worship Ministry Lead to guide a Spirit-led, intergenerational worship ministry. The role is leadership-focused, centered on training, developing and releasing worship leaders, musicians and technicians to multiply worship across congregations.

The post holder will nurture a healthy worship culture, collaborate with church leadership, and oversee volunteers, aiming for fruitful worship across services, including Sundays.

Description of Job

We're now looking for a Worship Ministry Lead: a spiritually grounded, musically skilled leader with a passion for intergenerational worship. This is a leadership role first - cultivating a healthy, Spirit-led culture of worship by training, developing and releasing worship leaders, musicians and technicians. Its fruit will be seen not only in the worship the postholder leads, but in the worship others lead because of them.

• Hours: part-time (24 hours a week), including Sundays

St Thomas' Church is situated in the centre of Lancaster, a historic city in the northwest of England. St Thomas' Church is at an exciting stage of life; we estimate around 400 adults and 150 under-18s are coming regularly to our weekly gatherings, with 40-50 students also attending, particularly at the 7pm service. As a charismatic, evangelical Anglican church, St Thomas' is committed to sharing God's love from the heart of the city.
