Job summary

St Paul’s Church, Salisbury is seeking a Worship Development Lead to shape a Christ-centred, Spirit-led worship, lead and develop the worship ministry, and nurture a culture of gift-development among musicians.

You will establish a Worship Ministry Hub to train leaders across churches, contribute to city-wide worship gatherings, and partner with young people in Salisbury to inspire mission and worship across the Deanery.

Qualifications

• Passionate, gifted and capable Worship Leader with a strong grounding in the theology of worship.
• Commitment to raising up others and developing worship leaders.
• Experience in leading and developing worship within a church context.
• Ability to mentor younger musicians and foster confidence in teams.
• Willingness to collaborate across church networks and city-wide initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the worship ministry at St Paul’s, shaping a culture of Christ-centred, Spirit-led worship.
• Develop worship leaders, mentor younger musicians and equip people to grow in their gifts and confidence.
• Establish a Worship Ministry Hub to support, encourage and train worship leaders and teams in other churches.
• Contribute to city-wide worship gatherings and mission initiatives, particularly in partnership with young people across Salisbury.
