Job summary

Diageo’s Johnnie Walker Princes Street in Edinburgh is seeking a bartender to craft memorable drinks experiences. You’ll use mixology skills, knowledge of spirits and whisky, and strong guest service to welcome visitors and take orders.

Qualifications

• Two years+ experience as a bartender in a high-quality hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of beverages, spirits, whisky and cocktails; mixology qualification is a plus.
• Friendly, confident and engaging with excellent communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with visitors, recommend drinks, take orders and process payments.
• Prepare and serve a range of beverages using mixology skills and knowledge of spirits and cocktails.
• Maintain bar presentation and cleanliness, follow health and safety procedures, assist with stock counts and replenishment.
• Collaborate with team to meet service, revenue and profitability targets and stay updated on beverage trends.
