Job summary

Carrington Blake Recruitment is seeking a Procurement Data & Technology Transformation Lead to support a major public-sector transformation programme. The role focuses on developing procurement data, reporting and digital capabilities to create a single view of procurement activity, contracts, suppliers, spend and performance.

Key responsibilities include leading the procurement data and technology strategy, selecting eProcurement/contract management systems, and ensuring integration with SAP

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering enterprise data, technology or digital transformation programmes.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, data governance, integration and reporting.
• Experience working with ERP, finance or procurement-related systems.

Procurement Data & Technology Transformation Lead

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Procurement Data & Technology Transformation Lead to support a major transformation programme within a public-sector organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior data and technology professional to lead the development of procurement data, reporting and digital capabilities, helping create a single, accurate view of procurement activity, contracts, suppliers, spend and performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the development and delivery of the procurement data and technology strategy.
• Oversee the selection and implementation of eProcurement and contract management systems.
• Ensure integration between procurement platforms, SAP and other corporate systems.
• Develop data architecture, governance frameworks and data quality standards.

Essential experience:

• Significant experience delivering enterprise data, technology or digital transformation programmes.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, data governance, integration and reporting.
• Experience implementing complex technology platforms and managing external suppliers.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and programme leadership skills.
• Experience working with ERP, finance or procurement‑related systems.

Desirable experience:

• eProcurement, sourcing or Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms.
• SAP integration and procurement data management.
• Supplier performance, contract reporting and procurement spend analytics.
• Public‑sector or similarly complex organisational experience.
