Position: Workshop Vehicle Technician
Location: East of England Showground,Peterborough (PE2 6XE)
Work Patterns: Monday-Friday. Day time hours (08:00-17:00)
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Key Responsibilities:

  • To carry out repairs to vehicles using best practice techniques, incorporating customer approved repair methods and guidelines
  • To repair vehicles in line with manufacturers repair instructions
  • Efficiently diagnose faults and working within set manufacturers repair time
  • Ensure correct clock in's and documentation are kept up to date
  • To ensure all vehicles indicated as a priority are completed for bookings
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician is essential.
  • Level 3 City and Guilds or other qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is essential
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Systematic and organised: Pays attention to the finer details.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
  • Good communicative skills and ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions.
  • Valid driver's license (Preferred).
