We are looking for a highly qualified and trustworthy Workshop Technician to join our expanding team at Best Bargain Sewing Supplies Ltd. This full-time position offers a 37.5-hour workweek and a competitive annual income of £38,700.00.

As a Workshop Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and support of classic chainstitch and Irish embroidery machines used by our clients both in-person and online. Our machines include models from JUKI, Brother, Singer Irish embroidery machines, as well as vintage Singer and Cornely chainstitch machines.

Your duties will include maintaining embroidery skills, making precise mechanical adjustments, resolving faults effectively, and ensuring optimal machine performance. You will support our online clients in maximizing their machine use and ensure smooth workshop operations. Excellent communication skills are essential to provide clear guidance and after-sale assistance to customers.

Key requirements include strong knowledge of mechanically crank-operated embroidery machines, meticulousness, and the ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative team environment. Familiarity with manual operating procedures such as thread tensioning, timing adjustments, and mechanical calibration is highly desirable.
