Job summary

Orion Electrotech is seeking a skilled Workshop Technician in Avonmouth/Bristol to deliver high-quality servicing, maintenance and repairs in a busy workshop. You will work independently or with colleagues to uphold our reputation for excellence.

The role requires qualified or time-served technicians with experience in special purpose vehicles, hydraulics and pneumatics, and a clean driving licence. Occasional on-site work and opportunities for overtime are available.

Qualifications

• Qualified mechanic or time-served technician.
• Experience with special purpose vehicles (plant equipment, cranes, forklifts).
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics advantageous.
• Strong customer focus and commitment to quality.
• Understanding of diesel and electric engines.
• A reasonably clean driving licence.
• HGV, forklift or mobile plant backgrounds encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service and repair work efficiently and to high standards.
• Diagnose faults and provide cost-effective technical solutions.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean, organised working area to support a professional workshop image.
• Attend occasional onsite jobs as required.

About the Role
