Looking for a hands-on role where no two days are the same? Our client, a well-established plant hire company, is seeking a Workshop Technician to join their busy team in Redhill.

This is a great opportunity for someone with solid mechanical knowledge who enjoys problem-solving, working with equipment, and keeping things running smoothly.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Inspecting and checking in returned hire equipment (ladders, hoists, platforms)
  • Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs
  • Assembling and servicing scaffold and hoist equipment
  • Installing hoists on-site when needed
  • Keeping systems and paperwork up to date

What you’ll need:

  • A solid hands-on experience of maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems
  • A safety-conscious, proactive approach
  • Mechanical engineering degree (desirable)
  • Experience handling equipment or materials (ideal, but not essential)
  • A willingness to learn and work as part of a team
