Job description

Job Title: Senior Workshop Technician
Location: Clevedon
Hours: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday
Salary: £30,000 - 35,000 depending on experience
Contract Type: Permanent

My Client is attached to drainage and waste water sectors and currently has an immediate need for a Senior Workshop Technician to support their Clevedon based operations.

In this role, you will be covering a range of workshop-based tasks which will be focused around the service and maintenance of site-based monitoring equipment such as:

  1. Basic electrical wire checks
  2. Soldering repairs
  3. Calibrating and repairing
  4. Battery check
  5. Inventory management
  6. Supervising a small team of technicians
  7. Ensuring equipment is correctly serviced, repaired, and maintained

This role would suit an experienced workshop technician or someone who has had basic electrical/electronic repairs experience looking to use and develop these skills while stepping up into a supervisory role, or someone from facilities maintenance, manufacturing, or field service engineering such as white goods or any equipment that has wiring.

On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established company with over 15 offices nationwide. You will be based in the Clevedon workshop where you will work Monday - Friday for 40 hours per week.

This role pays £30,000-£35,000 depending on experience + package and has scope for you to progress into a workshop manager position.
