Workshop Repair & Admin Technician - Join a Fast-Paced, Friendly Team

Temp to Perm

Location: Maidenhead (office-based)

Hours: Monday - Friday, 07:30 - 16:00

Salary: GBP25,486 per annum

A well-established and growing company is seeking a Workshop Repair & Admin Technician to join their busy, hands-on team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work but also brings strong admin and IT skills to the table.

You'll be part of a friendly and supportive environment, where your contribution is key to the smooth running of workshop operations and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and assess repair items, identifying parts and labour needed
  • Complete repairs to manufacturer standards using genuine parts
  • Maintain accurate quality control documentation and internal records
  • Respond to emails from clients, consumers, and retailers
  • Use internal systems to make notes and track job progress
  • Package and dispatch completed items to the correct recipient
  • Provide cross-departmental support as required by supervisors or managers

What You'll Need:

  • Some previous administrative experience and confidence using IT (especially MS Office)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to work under pressure
  • A team player who can support wider workshop and office operations
  • Experience in a workshop, repair, or technical service setting is desirable but not essential
  • GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English is beneficial
