The London Borough of Harrow is seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor Master Technician to join its Fleet Services team on a temporary basis. This is a great opportunity for a skilled individual to support and supervise fleet maintenance operations. The hourly rate is £35.74 per hour (Umbrella Paye).

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles to meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Support strategic fleet planning and efficient workshop operations.
• Lead service delivery and supervise workshop performance and staff.
• Coordinate resources and contribute to wider council transport initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with the Service Manager and complete documentation promptly.
• Stay current on regulations, undergo training, and hold relevant vehicle licenses.

Role Requirements:

• UK Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle
• HGV Licence
• MOT tester (Classes 4/5/7)
• Compliance knowledge: O Licence & DVSA standards
• Strong decision-making and adaptability
• Experience managing deadlines and conflicting demands
• Supervisory experience in H&S and team management
• Skilled in performance supervision and handling behaviour
• Customer-facing service experience
