Job summary

Auto Skills UK is recruiting a Workshop Supervisor to join our Gloucester Depot. The role manages a team of HGV Technicians in a busy commercial vehicle workshop, ensuring safety, quality, and efficient service.

The shift pattern runs Monday to Friday with 6am–2pm and 2pm–10pm slots, offering a 40-hour week. Basic salary ranges from £44,000 to £48,000 per annum depending on experience.

Qualifications

• The core skills and qualifications required for a Workshop Supervisor are: Appropriate technical qualifications.
• Time Served Tech or NVQ C&G Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Repairs
• MOT preparation experience

Responsibilities

• Complete service and repair documentation and records in accordance with company requirements and standards
• Experience in overseeing a team of HGV Technicians in a commercial vehicle workshop
• Overhaul of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and other workshop equipment
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, both electronically and paper based
