The role includes supervising the use of machine tools, instructing students, and maintaining equipment, contributing to a vibrant educational environment.
Bristol Grammar School is seeking a part-time Workshop Supervisor and Technician from September 2025.
The Workshop Technician plays a vital role in supporting Design Technology teachers in delivering course content and assisting pupils outside of lessons. The primary responsibilities include supervising students in the use of machine tools and heat treatment processes, instructing students on the correct use of resources in the machine tools and hot metals workshop, and undertaking regular maintenance of machinery and risk assessments under the guidance of the Head of Subject.
We are recruiting a second person into this role as a job-share with the existing Workshop Supervisor.
