Workshop Supervisor - Fabrication & Machining

Location: Lichfield

Salary: �38,000 - �42,000 = Pension Contribution

Holidays: 25 Days + Statutory Holidays

Progression: Role to grow into Workshop Manager

We are seeking a Workshop Supervisor to lead operations in a dynamic fabrication and machining environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established manufacturer renowned for delivering high-quality bespoke solutions across a wide range of industries.

Key Responsibilities of a Workshop Supervisor:

* Oversee daily workshop operations and manage production schedules
* Lead and motivate a skilled team to meet production targets
* Inspect production and incoming goods to maintain quality standards
* Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring regular servicing and inspections
* Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement and distribution teams
* Interpret technical drawings for job planning and cost estimation
* Maintain accurate production records and reports
* Ensure compliance with health & safety policies and quality management systems

The ideal Workshop Supervisor candidate:

* Proven experience within a fabrication/machining workshop
* Strong understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Sage is a plus
