Job summary

Odin Recruitment Group in the North West is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to lead a workshop team of 11 engineers and drive productivity, quality and continuous improvement across two sites. You will act as the primary technical contact for customers and suppliers and ensure hands-on leadership where required.

This role requires strong knowledge of gearboxes, motors, engines, pumps and rotating equipment, plus willingness to travel 2–3 nights weekly.

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + 10% Bonus + Overtime + 33 Days Holiday

The Opportunity

As Service Manager, you will lead a team of 11 engineers within a workshop environment, ensuring high standards of productivity, quality, and continuous improvement. You’ll also act as the primary technical contact for both customers and suppliers.

This is a hands‑on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys combining team management with technical involvement.

You will oversee operations across two sites, with regular travel (2–3 nights per week). A company van will be provided for site travel.

• Hands‑on experience with stripping, inspection, and repair of mechanical components
• Ambitious and ready to progress into a Service Manager role
• Comfortable with travel and working across multiple sites
