Workshop Supervisor

March (PE15)

Commutable from Peterborough, Wisbech, Chatteris
£20-£25/hour

Monday - Friday (days)

Our client is a leading machinery equipment supplier who upgrade and manufacture products for a variety of industries. Due to internal movements in the business, they are looking for a workshop supervisor to manage the day-to-day operations of the workshop.

Role & Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the workshop
  2. Plan and schedule tasks- ensuring jobs are completed in line with customer's requirements
  3. Assist the production team in managing the workload
  4. Providing hands-on engineering support where necessary

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  1. Have a strong engineering background- with knowledge and experience of electrical and mechanical systems
  2. Have experience in a leadership position
  3. Have experience working with plant or heavy machinery
  4. Full right to work in the UK
